Editorial policy

How this site is written, sourced, funded and corrected — and the specific things we refuse to publish.

Last updated 25 September 2026. Publisher: DELTA BARS s.r.o.. Director of publication: Oliver Young.

1. Who writes this site

All editorial content on coratis.online is written and published under the responsibility of Oliver Young, director of publication for DELTA BARS s.r.o.. Every article carries a byline and a publication date. There are no anonymous articles, no pen names and no syndicated advertiser copy presented as editorial.

Editorial correspondence: info@coratis.online, or by post to the address on the legal notice.

2. How facts are established and sourced

We work from primary sources and we name them at the foot of each article. In practice that means:

  • Product facts — what a tier includes, which platforms a component supports, how many devices a licence covers — come from the vendor's own published product, comparison and terms pages. Where our description and the vendor's differ, the vendor's information prevails, and we say so on the page.
  • Comparative performance comes from independent testing laboratories that publish their methodology — AV-TEST, AV-Comparatives and SE Labs. We cite them as sources to read rather than copying their figures, because a figure copied into an article goes out of date at the next test round.
  • Corporate and historical facts come from the company's own public announcements.
  • Anything we cannot establish, we hedge or omit. If a claim can only be written as "many users find…" or "is widely regarded as…", it is not a fact and we do not present it as one.

We do not quote prices, because they vary by country, currency and promotion and change without notice. We send readers to the vendor's checkout page instead.

3. How the site is funded

coratis.online is funded by advertising, specifically by affiliate commission. Some links are paid partner links. They are labelled "Partner link" on the link itself, they carry the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", and each one has a note beneath it stating that we are paid a commission and that the reader pays no more as a result. A disclosure bar appears at the top of every page, and a disclosure box appears immediately after the headline of any page carrying commercial links, before any promotional content.

We do not sell anything ourselves, we hold no stock, and we process no payments. We have no ownership interest in any vendor discussed on this site.

4. Advertiser independence

  • No advertiser, network or agency sees an article before it is published.
  • No advertiser has the right to approve, edit, delay or withdraw anything we publish.
  • Commission rates play no part in what we write or in the order in which anything appears.
  • Criticism and limitations are published whether or not a commercial relationship exists. If we could not describe a product honestly, we would not carry it at all.
  • A correction is published on its merits, including when the correction is commercially inconvenient. The corrections table on our home-page article exists because of this rule.

5. What we refuse to publish

These are absolute, not aspirational:

  • Invented testimonials. No "reader story", "reader-submitted experience", fabricated quote or composite customer. If we did not receive it from an identifiable person who agreed to its publication, it does not appear.
  • Invented ratings and rankings. No star scores, no "9.4/10", no "best of" ordering. We do not have a testing laboratory, so we have no basis on which to award a number, and a number nobody can audit is decoration.
  • Fabricated statistics. No detection percentages, user counts or survey results without a named, dated, checkable source. An earlier version of our home-page article contained invented percentages; they were removed and the removal is documented on the page.
  • Artificial urgency. No countdown timers, no "offer ends tonight", no "only N licences remaining", no fake stock scarcity. Software does not run out.
  • Guaranteed-result claims. No security product prevents every attack, and we will not write as though one does. We describe what software is designed to do and we state the limits alongside.
  • Impersonating a vendor. We do not use vendor branding in a way that suggests we are the vendor, an authorised reseller or a support channel. Trademark notices appear on every page.
  • Undisclosed commercial links. Every commercial link on this site is labelled, attributed and explained. There are no exceptions and no "subtle" placements.
  • Scare copy. We do not manufacture fear to sell a subscription. Where a risk is real we describe it accurately, including how likely it is and what a product can actually do about it.

6. Trademarks and third-party brands

Third-party product names and trademarks are used on this site for identification only. Norton and the Norton logo are trademarks of Gen Digital Inc. and/or its affiliates. DELTA BARS s.r.o. is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gen Digital Inc., is not an authorised reseller, and provides no support for its products. We host no vendor screenshots, logos or product photography; every illustration on this site is an original SVG drawn by us.

7. Reader privacy as an editorial commitment

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising pixel, uses no browser storage and makes no third-party requests. That is an editorial choice as much as a legal one: a publication that asks readers to think about their security should not be profiling them. The cookie policy explains how to verify this in your own browser in under a minute.

8. Corrections procedure

  1. Report it. Write to info@coratis.online with the page URL and what you believe is wrong. Anyone may do this — reader, vendor, competitor, regulator.
  2. We acknowledge it. We aim to reply within five working days.
  3. We verify it against the primary source, normally the vendor's own current documentation or the relevant laboratory publication.
  4. We fix it. A factual error is corrected on the page itself, not quietly removed.
  5. We say what changed. A material correction is recorded visibly on the page and the "last updated" date is revised. Our home-page article carries such a table.
  6. If we were wrong and cannot substantiate a claim at all, the claim comes out, whatever it does to the commercial performance of the page.

9. Disclosure about production

Editorial responsibility for every page rests with Oliver Young on behalf of DELTA BARS s.r.o., who checks and approves the content before publication regardless of the tools used to draft or illustrate it. Where a page relies on the vendor's own published information, that reliance is stated on the page together with the instruction that the vendor's information prevails.

10. Review cycle

Pages describing a product are reviewed when the vendor changes the relevant tier, and otherwise at least annually. The "last updated" date at the top of each page is the date it was last checked, not the date it was first written.

If anything on this page is unclear or appears to be out of date, write to info@coratis.online and we will correct it.
